Logistics hubs in the country are mushrooming – a development driven by online retailing. The Russian eCommerce market totaled 15 billion euros in sales in 2017, with annual growth of 20 percent. Bricks-and-mortar retailers are also pushing ahead with the development of their online sales channels and investing in the construction of large logistics centers. Not only Russian online retailers such as Wildberries are investing in new warehouse capacity, but Chinese companies like Alibaba as well.
