A small special-property alloy plant to appear in Sverdlovsk Region19 May/ 2015
There are plans to build two metal enterprises in Sverdlovsk Region - a special-property alloys mini-plant in Beloyarskiy District and a combined works to manufacture aluminium powder in Sysert District.
It is scheduled to complete the two projects by 2018, with the Klyuchevskiy Ferroalloy Plant to invest six billion roubles into the first project, and two billion roubles into the second one.
The mini-plant project design envisages creating a new efficient production of high-quality superalloys and steel and doped ferrous alloys the Klyuchevskiy plant is manufacturing. The combined works to produce aluminium powders is meant to substitute the outdated production at the existing plant in Sysert District.
It is believed that high alloys will be in demand by machine-building and aircraft-building enterprises as well as in the atomic-energy sector, space exploration and the chemical industry.
